The new Procurement Guidelines and Manual – for Goods, Works and Non-consulting Services  was published by The National Procurement Commission, established in terms of Article 156B.(1) of the Constitution, is responsible for formulating fair, equitable, transparent, competitive and cost-effective procedures and guidelines for the procurement of goods and services, works, consultancy services and information systems through all Government institutions, in accordance with the powers vested with the said Commission, in terms of Article 156C.(1) of the Constitution. 

Accordingly, the Procurement Guidelines on the Procurement of Goods, Works and Non-Consulting Services by the Government Institutions and for matters connected and incidental thereto - 2024, has been published in the Gazette Extraordinary Notification No.2412/01 dated 2024-11-25., 

The  Manual – for Goods, Works and Non-consulting Services -  to be used along with the Procurement Guidelines 2024 was updated and published with effect from 01.01.2025.
